This document describes the CAT3224EVAL Evaluation board for ON Semiconductor CAT3224 supercapacitor flash LED driver. The functionality and major parameters of the CAT3224 can be evaluated with this board.The CAT3224 is a 4 A integrated flash LED driver which also supports the charging function for a dualcell supercapacitor applications. Ideal for Li-ion battery-powered systems, it delivers up to 4 A LED flash pulses, far beyond the peak current capability of the battery.
